What is Shotcut?
Shotcut features a sleek, intuitive interface with multiple dockable and undockable panels, including media properties, recent files with search, playlist with thumbnail view, filter panel, history view, encoding panel, jobs queue, and melted server and playlist. It also supports drag-n-drop of assets from file manager.
How to Use Shotcut?
Open files by drag-n-drop, use menu and toolbar methods. Control playback speed and direction with shortcut keys. Set in and out points with I or O keys. Navigate frame-by-frame using cursor keys. Jump between start, in, out, and end using alt+left or alt+right keys. The software is based on date versioning, allowing users to choose updates and maintain multiple versions.
